There was a documentary on this a few months ago, a well know journalist dropped normal food for a junk food diet, the results were measurable in a month. Brain function had changed,, energy levels dropped, skin changed….. it a fascinating subject that is a huge issue in general public daily life.
Thank you for your comment. Was that by chance What are we feeding our kids? with Chris van Tulleken? The scaries thing was that it also changed some pathways in his brain – potentially for long term. I’ve been recommending that programme to my Food and Mood students at the Stepping Stones Recovery College but I don’t think it’s available any more…

Do you have a healthy flapjack recipe, he loves them and has made them recently which has made me wonder if there is a healthier alternative.

I look forward to that, Neil uses oats, syrup, brown sugar and butter so not the healthiest recipe
