On average only 54.8% of people in England hit their 5 a day fruit and veg quota. ☹️

That is a very sad statistic! 😪😪😪

Here’s a top tip and a sneaky way to get nutrient dense food into your family without them realising…

💚Frozen spinach!

Throw a few chunks in everything!

👉 Casseroles
👉 Chillis/Spag bol
👉 Soups
👉 Any sauces (whether you’ve made them yourself or not!)
👉 Omelettes
👉 Baked beans (why not! 🤷‍♀️)

Frozen chopped spinach is an absolute winner on nutrients….

💚 Vitamin A
💚 Fibre
💚 Iron
💚 Calcium
💚 Magnesium

All the good stuff!

And great for weight loss too – 100g = just 21 calories! 👊🏼

It disperses in the food and is hard to spot – so great for fooling the fussy veg eaters!

Be more Popeye – eat your spinach! 💪🏼😆

What’s for dinner and can you throw in some frozen spinach?
