Bank holidays are lovely, but they really throw my working week out of sync, is it the same for anyone else?

Despite that it’s been a positive and productive week, with lots of activity.

Tuesday was the Ascot Growth Community networking meeting, which is always lovely. The Growth community is all about business owners supporting each other for mutual growth, I would highly recommend visiting if you are local to Ascot.

Wednesday was Athena, which I have joined wearing my home improvement hat as Ellen James Ltd, supporting our other business which is headed up by the very talented Neil Medcalf (not that I’m biased). The members of the group gave me a lovely welcome, and it was very enjoyable meeting. If you are a female business owner, Athena is a wonderful network of likeminded women working together supporting each other and their businesses.

I have also had some great 121’s, Bill Christie, Gabriele Swift, Natalie Hall, Emma Mitchell, and not forgetting my catch up this morning with the lovely Sue Selisko.

I would love to see what everyone else has been up to, please comment below.

If you rely on repeat business, you need to focus on building relationships. When you have solid relationships with your customers it becomes easy to ask for and get testimonials, your customers will be so familiar with you they will naturally refer you to their family and friends. Isn’t that a great position to be in. Do you have all your customer contact details stored in one easy to access place where you can communicate with one, some or all of them at the click of a button? Email, call or text? Do you struggle to keep your prospects and customers up to date with...
